Chapter 3. Writing Notes > Correcting Typos and Checking Spelling

Correcting Typos and Checking Spelling

OneNote can correct some typos as soon as you make them. For example, try typing “accidant” with an a instead of an e; OneNote corrects the misspelling and enters the word “accident” for you. Type “perminent” with an i instead of an a; OneNote corrects the misspelling and enters “permanent.” OneNote corrects common spelling errors as part of its AutoCorrect feature. To see which typos are corrected, on the Tools menu, click AutoCorrect Options. In the AutoCorrect dialog box, scroll down the Replace list to see the list of typos that are automatically corrected.
