Chapter 3. Writing Notes > Making Better Use of Notes and Pages

Making Better Use of Notes and Pages

As a page fills with notes, finding enough space to enter new notes can be a problem. If two notes cover the same topic or similar topics, consider combining them. Combining notes keeps the page from getting crowded. It also makes finding notes easier because there aren’t as many notes to find.

When you combine two notes, positioning the text correctly can be tricky, especially if the notes are broken into paragraphs. Holding down the mouse button, drag the note until the text is in the position you want it to be in when you combine the notes, and then release the mouse button. OneNote shows you where the text will be positioned when you release the mouse button.
