Creating Outlook Contact Entries, Appointments, and Tasks in OneNote

You can create Outlook contact entries, appointments, and tasks without leaving the OneNote window. This helps you quickly take information from a note and record it in Outlook. Employees of The Garden Company often jot down addresses in notes and then move the information to the Outlook Contacts folder. To create a contact entry, appointment, or task in OneNote, Outlook doesn’t have to be running. You simply click the button in OneNote to create the Outlook item, and the next time you open Outlook, the information you entered is displayed.

Follow these instructions to create an Outlook contact entry, appointment, or task from inside OneNote:
