Creating Notes from Outlook Data

In Microsoft Outlook, a meeting is a block of time set aside on the calendars of two or more people for a shared activity of some kind—a meeting, a lunch engagement, an interview. An activity is a block of time set aside on one person’s calendar. OneNote includes a command that copies meeting and appointment information from your Microsoft Office calendar so you don’t have to enter the information all over again in a note.

In this exercise, you enter Outlook meeting or appointment details in a note.
