Chapter 2. Storing Notes > Creating Pages, Subpages, and Groups

Creating Pages, Subpages, and Groups

OneNote creates a new page when you create a new section.Chances are, you will need more than one page in each section. Creating additional pages and then navigating from page to page is easier than scrolling up and down one long page. In her Business Matters folder, Catherine Turner of The Garden Company keeps a section called To Do, and that section contains pages that describe the weekly chores she has assigned herself for each day of the week.

The smallest storage unit for notes is the subpage. You can create a subpage in a page to help you keep track of the notes you write. OneNote offer two ways to create subpages— from scratch or by turning existing pages into subpages.
