Chapter 2. Storing Notes > Password-Protecting Sections

Password-Protecting Sections

Shakespeare wrote it and Falstaff said it, “Discretion is the better part of valor.” It is always better to be prudent if you are taking notes that you would prefer others not to see, and to this end, you can create a password for a section. Catherine Turner, president of The Garden Company, maintains a folder called Employees with one section for each employee. On the chance that an employee working on her computer will come across these sections, she protects each one with a password.

When you try to open a section that is protected by a password, a message box prompts you to click anywhere or press to display the Protected Section dialog box and enter a password.
