Sharing a Section on Your Computer

You can use OneNote as a shared whiteboard. Shared sessions is a new feature in OneNote 2003 Service Pack 1 that you can use to collaborate on a OneNote section with multiple users in real time over a network. Instead of sharing a file on a SharePoint Web site, the shared section file is stored on your computer. This is a useful means of editing meeting notes or project notes with team members or co-workers. People who work at different computers, even if they are miles away from each other, can work on the same notes.

Before using shared sessions, all participants must have the following:
