Chapter 8. Finding Stray Notes > Moving from Page to Page

Moving from Page to Page

Your first step in trying to find a misplaced note is the navigation buttons. Navigation buttons are especially useful when you are looking for a note you wrote or read since the last time you started OneNote. These buttons work much like the Back and Forward buttons in a Web browser such as Internet Explorer.

  • Click the Back button to return to a page you viewed previously. By clicking the Back down arrow and clicking a page on the drop-down menu, you can skip back several pages.

  • Click the Forward button to skip ahead to a page you had open and used the Back button to exit. By clicking the Forward down arrow and clicking a page on the drop-down menu, you can jump forward several pages.

  • Click the Navigate to Parent Folder button to move up in the folder hierarchy.
