Part IV: Simply PowerPoint > Enhancing Your Presentations

Chapter 13. Enhancing Your Presentations

Your presentation should be looking good by now. You’ve learned to create and save a simple presentation in Microsoft PowerPoint. You’ve learned to edit, format, and arrange the presentation, as well as coordinate its animation effects, slide transitions, and timing. You’re probably eager to jump up in front of that group and wow the audience. Well, almost.

The features of PowerPoint go on and on—in fact, an entire book could be (and has been) written about using all the aspects of the program to create high-quality, imaginative presentations. But this section of the book wouldn’t be complete without at least a quick look at some of the high-end effects you can achieve with PowerPoint. The tasks covered here may be reserved for special presentations—effects that include video, adding music, and broadcasting your presentation online.
