Chapter 13. Enhancing Your Presentations > Broadcasting Your Presentation

Broadcasting Your Presentation

Suppose that you’ve just finished the prototype of your new sports sack and, as your first self-marketing effort, you found the e-mail addresses for the buyers from 15 of the largest sports equipment manufacturers worldwide. You’ve used PowerPoint to create a stellar, three-minute presentation that shows how the sports sack is made, what kind of research went into it, why it’s different, and how it can be used. You hope to capture the interest of at least one or two of these major-league buyers. You want to use an online broadcast—a novel idea you hope will capture someone’s attention—as a means of getting recognition for your invention. This section shows you how to prepare and broadcast your presentation.

Tip

You can either give a presentation live or record it and save it to your hard disk for delivery later. This section covers the steps for a live broadcast, but to record a broadcast, choose Online Broadcast from the Slide Show menu and then choose Record and Save a Live Broadcast.
