Creating Partial Borders

Not every paragraph, table, or object you enclose in a border will need four lines all the way around. You might want to add two lines, along the top and right side of a paragraph, for example, to help set it apart from an article that appears beside it. You might use only a top and bottom rule to contain your table of contents. Or you might use a single line to set off a quotation from the main text in a report.

Creating a partial border is a simple matter. You use the Custom Setting option and the Preview area to accomplish this. Here are the steps:
