The World Wide Web is a collection of pages on the Internet; these pages are filled with text, graphics, movies, sound, and animations. The Web is just one part of the Internet, but it's certainly the most popular part. On the Web, you can find information on just about anything—some of it true, some of not, some of it just opinion.
