21. Create a Table of Contents

When you write for others, a table of contents provides easy access for your readers. They can quickly go to whatever subject, or chapter, they want to go to. Making a table of contents used to be tedious, but with Writer, such a task is virtually work free. If you make changes to your document, such as adding new chapters, you can easily regenerate the table of contents to keep it fresh.
