Q1:So, what happens if I save my templates to another folder on my machine?
A1: They won't be as easily available in the New Presentation task pane. If you manage to change the default folder location for templates in PowerPoint, you'll probably lose access to your design templates (in the Slide Design task pane) and the AutoContent Wizard.

To use your own template folder, create a subfolder in the default Templates folder on your machine.

Q2:I thought Favorites were Web pages. Why would they show up in the Slide Finder?
A2: Favorites in the Slide Finder have nothing to do with Web pages. They are simply previously saved presentations whose contents you can access easily by clicking Insert Slides from File on the main menu.
Q3:Is there any way to put a picture into a template so that it shows up on every page?
A3: You must be psychic. That's exactly what we'll accomplish with the Slide Master in the next hour—that's the essence of customizing a presentation.
