Printing Notes

Notes can be printed either for speaker preparation or to add supplementary material for participants (instead of handouts) as shown in Figure 20.9.

Be aware that you need to set header and footer options for your notes and handouts output separate from those you set for the slides themselves.

You must select the Notes and Handouts tab of the Header and Footer dialog box after you have selected it under Options (refer to Figure 20.6). The footer on the slide in Figure 20.6 is different from the footer on the Notes and Handouts tab that you would enable and enter in Figure 20.9.

If you put a footer on your slides, it will automatically be printed when you select Slides as your print output.
