Q1:If I just want to print conventional slides or overheads, what do I do?
A1: You can go back through the AutoContent Wizard and select that output option, or investigate the Print options—we'll cover them more extensively later on. You can also send a PowerPoint file on a floppy (if it's small), a Zip disc, or CD to most service bureaus to complete your output.
Q2:What if I want to change the background from the presentation created with AutoContent Wizard?
A2: When the wizard finishes and the presentation opens in PowerPoint for editing, there are many designs that you can use. They're all available in the Slide Design task pane, which we'll cover in Hour 5, “Applying Designs and Color Schemes.”
Q3:When I open PowerPoint, what are the empty thumbnails in the left-side panel where the outline appears when AutoContent Wizard is complete?
A3: Those are slide miniatures in the Slides thumbnail panel, and they're empty when you begin (unless the wizard has included a picture or diagram). This panel toggles between thumbnails of your slides, showing content such as charts and images and the Outline panel. Because the wizard finished with text in most of the slides, the Outline panel became active.
