Q1:What if I wanted different clip art images for the last item on each row? How would I animate them?
A1: When you delete the current clip art image, the animation setting disappears. After you add your new image, you need to add your entrance effect (Dissolve In), and reorder the appropriate effect in the order list to happen at the right time.

If you're using regular AutoShapes and you use the Change AutoShape option described previously, the changed shape will retain the animation of the original shape.

Unfortunately, you can't use Format Painter to copy animation settings.

Q2:When should I deselect or select Relative to Slide under Align and Distribute?
A2: You should deselect Relative to Slide if you want the alignment or distribution to affect only the objects themselves and not to reorient them within the entire slide.
Q3:What's the easiest way to use these objects in another slide?
A3: Although you can cut and paste the individual objects or multiple selections to other locations (along with their animation settings), creating a duplicate slide (selecting Insert, Duplicate Slide from the main menu) and removing what you don't need might be the best way.
