Hour 23. Office 2003 Integration > Using OneNote with Outlook

Using OneNote with Outlook

OneNote is a nifty new program in the Office family used for taking notes. It's useful for notes that document a meeting, whereas Outlook's notes are generally better for smaller notes. OneNote doesn't have anything to do with Outlook's notes and there is very limited integration between Outlook and OneNote. OneNote 2003 can send mail using the Office Envelope and create a task out of selected text, but that's it.

Send a OneNote page by email using the same steps you use to send other Office documents: Choose the File, E-mail menu to open an Office Envelope. Selecting more than one note page enables you to send all the pages in your email. OneNote sends them as one long message, with each page converted to HTML and in sequence in the message body.
