Line Spacing

When you want to create more distance between lines of text or bullet points, don't press the Enter key an extra time. PowerPoint gives you a much simpler option for changing the line spacing that also gives you much more control than pressing Enter and adding an extra blank line. The Line Spacing option affects any lines of text you have previously selected. You can set the measurement for line spacing in number of lines or by points.

Point size is the unit of measurement typically used for fonts. One point is inch. Therefore, 72 points is 1 inch, 36 points is ½ inch, 18 points is ¼ inch, and so on. Follow these steps to change the line spacing for selected text:
