Using Other Office Data with Word 177 In addition to exporting an entire PowerPoint presentation to a Word document as a write-up, you can also insert individual slides, either as linked or embedded objects. Follow these steps to insert an individual slide in your Word document: 1. 2. 3. 4. In PowerPoint, choose View, Slide Sorter to switch to Slide Sorter view. Right-click the slide that you want to copy to Word, and choose Copy. Switch to the Word document, move the insertion point to the desired location, and choose Edit, Paste Special to display the Paste Special dialog box.
