Chapter 21. Combining Outlook and the Other Office Products

Microsoft Office integrates its programs with each other as much as possible so that their uses when combined are far greater than those for each module when used individually. Some of the integrative methods are fairly obvious, thanks to document object linking and embedding (OLE). Other aspects of the integration are more subtle. Such is the integration between Outlook and the Office programs. Some of the possibilities are obvious, such as WordMail. Some are subtle. For example, you can schedule a meeting from the middle of a PowerPoint slide show. This chapter shows you several ways to integrate Outlook with the other Office programs.
