Part: II Getting Started with Word > Managing Documents and Revising Text

Chapter 4. Managing Documents and Revising Text

You're now ready to learn how to manage your Word documents and enter and edit text. You can type and format all of your documents from scratch, but you don't have to. Word's templates can help you create a variety of documents, from memos and letters to fax cover sheets, résumés, and reports. You should also explore the wizards that ask you a series of questions and then create “made-to-order” documents based on your answers.

In Word, you spend the bulk of your time with editing text. Here, you learn the skills required to polish your documents. You will learn to insert new text, delete unwanted text, and move and copy text from one spot to another within your documents.
