Summary

Excel's Copy, Cut, and Paste commands work much the same as the corresponding operations in Word. This hour focused more on the differences than similarities between the products. Worksheet data differs from a word processor's, and you must handle certain kinds of Excel deletions differently from Word deletions. Remember that deletions in Excel might affect other cells or formulas and result in erroneous data.

This hour taught you how to speed up your data entry by using AutoFill and AutoCorrect. After you teach Excel your own special series, Excel fills in that series of values for you. Although accuracy is more important than speed, you will welcome the speedy data-entry tools Excel provides.
