Hour 6. Advanced Word 2002 > Inserting Pictures, Video Clips, and Sounds

Inserting Pictures, Video Clips, and Sounds

A clip (also called a clip file) is an image, audio, or video file that you can add to your documents to spruce them up. To add a clip to a document, select Insert, Picture, From File to display the Insert Picture dialog box. Locate the image on your disk and click Insert to insert the image. The Insert Picture dialog box shows a small, thumbnail sample of your graphic image.

If you often insert the same image or video clip, consider adding the clip to your Office Media Gallery. The Media Gallery is a repository of graphic images, sounds, and videos you add to your Office documents. The Media Gallery makes common clips easy for you to find, thus eliminating the need for you to search your disk drive every time you want to insert a clip.
