Exercises

Try these exercises to further build your proficiency in publishing Project data online:

  1. Consider applying some your new HTML talents to other Microsoft Office applications, such as Word, Excel, and FrontPage. For example, your may want to create a project "home page" using Microsoft Word or FrontPage that contains an overview of all of the active projects in your organization. From the home page, you can create a link to each of the HTML pages you created in Project 2000.

  2. Try out the various HTML templates included with Project 2000 to give your web page a new "look and feel". You can select a different template from the "Define Import/Export Map" dialog box, as described in this hour.

  3. Consider using the Insert Hyperlink feature to link up all of your organizations project related documentation, such as task procedures, checklists, and sign-off forms.
