Working with Cost Reports

In addition to the Task and Resource Usage views, there are several predefined reports in Project 2000 that print resource-related information. One group of reports is focused on cost and the budget breakdowns for the project (see Figure 17.4). Tracking project costs over time, and budgeting accordingly, is usually a key management concern. Also, Project 2000 computes and prints cost totals in the cost reports. The Cash Flow report, for example, shows total costs allocated in a time period, as well as the total cost of each task over the entire project.
