One of your team members does not have access to Project 2000 and needs to give you a list of tasks with start and finish dates for you to incorporate into the overall plan. How would you handle this scenario using what you have learned in Hour 24? Create a list of tasks with start and finish dates in an Excel spreadsheet. Using import/export maps, export the data from the Excel spreadsheet to a Project 2000 plan.

With this new plan you have created above, you will now need to assign resources to the tasks. In doing this you want to make sure that the standard rates for the resources are consistent with the one that Finance keeps in an Access database of employee information. What steps would you need to take to ensure that the resource rate information is accurate and up to date?
