Part III: Displaying and Printing Your Schedule > Working with Other Task Views

Hour 8. Working with Other Task Views

Besides the Gantt Chart view, several other views in Microsoft Project can be used to work with your task list. The Calendar view displays the task list in a typical monthly calendar format. Some of your project team members might find it easier to monitor their specific tasks using printouts based on the Calendar view. Another useful view is the Network Diagram. The Network Diagram view is often used as a flowchart of the tasks in the entire project. It provides an overview of the project tasks and the sequence of events.

In this hour, you will learn:

  • How to navigate and format the Calendar view

  • How to apply filters in the Calendar view

  • How to modify the task list in the Calendar and Network Diagram views

  • How to show and hide outline levels in the Network Diagram

  • Options for controlling the layout of the Network Diagram
