Setting Working Time in the Standard Calendar

Identifying a date on the base calendar as a working day merely tells Project that there is some time during that 24-hour period when work can be scheduled. But which hours are available for scheduling and which aren't? And do the work hours change from day to day? Many companies are experimenting with a modified workweek to ease the commute for employees, among other reasons.

For example, say your company will now work the following hours: Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Friday, 8 a.m. until noon. The working days are the same as the Standard base calendar, but the working times aren't. The calendar needs to be modified to reflect this workweek.
