Type

In Project 2000, for the first time you can distinguish between work resources, those that contribute their work to tasks but are not thereby consumed in the process, and material resources, those resources that in fact are consumed in the process. The cost of the work resources will be based on the number of hours they work on a task and the hourly cost for the resource. The cost of material resources will be based on the cost of a unit of the resource and how many units are consumed.

Tip

The default resource type on the Resource Sheet is Work, but you can use the drop-down arrow in the Type column to select either Work or Material.
