The Object Browser

In the Visio VBA IDE, pressing the F2 key initiates and displays the Object Browser. When the Object Browser is first activated, it displays all of the objects that it knows about. Note in the upper-left-hand corner of the browser, the list box displays All Libraries. Use the button to open the list and select Visio to limit the Object Browser to looking at only Visio objects.

The Classes list will present a listing of all the top-level objects. The Members of Application Object list will show the properties, methods, and events, as well as constants for this object level and subobjects below this object level. The Details pane at the bottom lists all of the details for this object. The iconography can be difficult to figure out, so each icon is identified in the following list.
