Changing Text Attributes with the Format Cells Dialog Box

If you want to change a lot of different text attributes in one step, use the Format Cells dialog box:

  1. Select the cell or range that contains the text you want to format.

  2. Open the Format menu and choose Cells, or press Ctrl+1. (You can also right-click the selected cells and choose Format Cells from the shortcut menu.)

  3. Click the Font tab. The Font options jump to the front, as shown in Figure 22.4.

  4. Select the options you want.

  5. Click OK or press Enter.
