Using the Office Clipboard to Copy or Move Multiple Items

The Office Clipboard allows you to copy or move multiple bits of data (as many as 12 separate items) to any of your other Office programs. For example, you could copy several parts of your Excel worksheet (maybe data stored on separate worksheets), a graphic, and even a chart from a PowerPoint slide, and then paste them all into a Word document. Actually, you can copy data from any document, but you can only paste the multiple items into an Office document. If you try to paste data into a non-Office document, you'll paste only the last item you copied (which is the same as if you were using only the Windows Clipboard).

Note

What a Drag! You can't use the drag and drop feature to copy or move data to the Office Clipboard.
