Lesson 12. Using the Contact and Persona... > Using the Postoffice Address List

Using the Postoffice Address List

If you use Outlook as your email client on a corporate mail server (meaning you have installed Outlook using the corporate mail configuration), many of the messages you send will be to coworkers on that same network. The email addresses for these people will be determined by your network administrator. Even if you do use Outlook as a corporate client, you can set it up to also serve as your Internet email program (see Lesson 3, "Understanding the Outlook Configurations," for more information on the setup options).

Internet Email

Internet email is sent over the Internet by means of a modem or your corporate network. Internet email addresses usually take the form of username@company.com.
