Lesson 26. Outlook 2000 and the Internet > Working with Net Folders

Working with Net Folders

Outlook provides a lot of team computing power when you use it in a corporate environment. You can share folders and create new folders that are available to everyone who has an account and the appropriate rights on a network. Outlook affords a great deal of flexibility for sharing information when you use the Corporate installation option and connect to a network using Microsoft Exchange Server.

Outlook does not leave those who use the Internet E-mail installation configuration and connect to the Internet using a service provider out in the cold, however. You can share Contact and Calendar information and create shared folders that can be accessed over the Internet by other users. These folders are called Net Folders.
