Recording Statistics About a Task

Tip

Export Task Lists You can export task lists and other Outlook information to a variety of applications, such as Microsoft Excel. Click File, Import and Export. A wizard will walk you through the steps so that you can place the appropriate task information in the cells of a spreadsheet or in a document in a word processor.


You can record statistics about a task, such as time spent completing the task, billable time, contacts, and so on, for your own records or for reference when sharing tasks with your co-workers. This feature is particularly helpful when you assign tasks to others; you can keep track of assigned tasks and find out when they're completed.
