Inserting an Object

Just as you can insert an object—a spreadsheet, chart, drawing presen-tation, media clip, clip art, WordArt, and so on—in any Windows application that supports OLE, you can also insert an object into your Outlook items, such as your calendar or task list. Inserting a file in a message, as discussed earlier, is the equivalent of inserting an object into one of the other Outlook items.

Note

OLE (Object Linking and Embedding) A method of exchanging and sharing data between applications; OLE is supported by most Windows applications and all Microsoft programs.
