Lesson 23. Working with Multiple Documen... > Viewing All Open Documents

Viewing All Open Documents

Word has a command that displays all your open documents. Select Window, Arrange All to tile all document windows. When you tile your documents, every open document is displayed in a small window with no overlapping of windows. Each window has its own title bar, menu bar, and toolbars. If you have more than a few documents open, these windows will be quite small and won't be very useful for editing. They are useful, however, for seeing exactly what documents you have open and for finding the one you need to work on at the moment. Figure 23.2 shows the result of the Window, Arrange All command with three documents open.

Figure 23.2. The Arrange All command displays all open documents, each in its own window.
