Inserting Manual Page Breaks

When text reaches the bottom margin of a page, Word automatically starts a new page and continues the text at the top of that page. However, you can manually insert page breaks to start a new page at any desired location. To insert a page break at the location of the insertion point:

  1. Click Insert, Break to open the Break dialog box.

  2. Select Page Break.

  3. Click OK.
