Saving a Document as You Work

After naming and saving a document, you still need to save it periodically as you work to minimize data loss in the event of a power failure or other system problem. After you name a document, there are several ways in which you can easily save the current version:

  • Click File, Save.

  • Click the Save button on the Standard toolbar.

  • Press Ctrl+S.
