Why Use Revisions?

Word's revision features are very useful when more than one person is working on a document. For example, an author can sa document to an editor, who then enters suggested changes to text and formatting. With revision marks, both the original text and the suggested changes are present in the document. When the document is returned to the author, he or she can review the suggested changes and either accept or reject them. When a document is reviewed by more than one person, each reviewer's suggested changes can be uniquely identified by the text color.
