Lesson 9. Printing, Faxing, or Emailing ... > Printing Part of a Document

Printing Part of a Document

Most of the time you want to print all of a document. You can, however, print just part of a document, ranging from a single sentence to multiple pages. Follow these steps:

  1. To print a section of text, select the text. To print a single page, move the cursor to that page.

  2. Click File, Print, or press Ctrl+P. The Print dialog box appears (refer to Figure 9.1).

  3. In the Page Range area, specify what you want to be printed:

    • To print the selected text, choose Selection.

    • To print the page containing the cursor, choose Current Page.

    • To print specified pages, choose Pages, and then enter the page numbers in the text box. For example, entering 1–3 prints pages 1 through 3, entering 2,4 prints pages 2 and 4, and entering 1–5,7,9 prints pages 1 through 5, and pages 7 and 9.

  4. Click OK.
