Changing the Way Menus Display

You can tell Word to always display the full menus, without a delay and without requiring you to click on the arrow at the bottom of the menu. To turn off adaptive menus:

  1. Click Tools, Customize to display the Customize dialog box.

  2. In the dialog box click the Options tab.

  3. Click the Menus Show Recently Used Commands First check box to remove the checkmark next to it.

  4. Click the Close button.
