Full Screen View

Full Screen view provides the maximum amount of screen real estate to display your document contents. In Full Screen view, the title bar, menu, toolbars, Status bar, and all other Word elements are hidden—your document occupies the entire screen. You use Full Screen view in combination with other views. Thus, you can use Full Screen view in Normal view, Print Layout view, and so on. You can enter and edit text in this view and select from the menus using the usual keyboard commands. Even though the menu is not displayed, you can access it with the mouse by moving the mouse pointer to the top of the screen.

To turn on Full Screen view, click View, Full Screen. To turn off Full Screen view, press Esc or click the Close Full Screen box that appears in the lower-right corner of the screen.
