Setting Text Justification

Justification, sometimes called alignment, refers to the manner in which the left and right ends of lines of text are aligned. Word offers four justification options:

  • Left justification aligns the left ends of lines.

  • Right justification aligns the right ends of lines.

  • Full justification aligns both the left and right ends of lines.

  • Center justification centers lines between the left and right margins.
