Lesson 22. Transitions and Animation > Setting Up Transitions

Setting Up Transitions

An onscreen slide show is a lot like the slide show you put on using a slide projector. However, with an onscreen slide show, you can add impressive and professional visual effects (transitions and effects) that provide smooth and attention-getting movements from one slide or object to the next.

Note

Transitions and Effects A transition is a way of moving from one slide to the next. For example, with a vertical blinds transition, the slide takes on the look of window blinds that turn to reveal the next slide. An effect is also an animated movement from one thing to another, but it pertains to individual objects on the slide, such as a bulleted list or a movie, rather than to the appearance or disappearance of the entire slide.
