Lesson 19. Positioning and Sizing Objects > Grouping and Ungrouping Objects

Grouping and Ungrouping Objects

Each object you draw acts as an individual object. However, sometimes you want two or more objects to act as a group. For example, you may want to make the lines of several objects the same thickness, or group several objects together. If you want to treat two or more objects as a group, perform the following steps:

  1. Select the objects you want to group. Remember, to select more than one object, hold down the Shift key as you click each one.

  2. Click the Draw button on the Drawing toolbar to open the Draw menu, and then select Group.

  3. To ungroup the objects, select any object in the group, and select Draw, Ungroup.
