Lesson 20. Formatting Objects > Copying the Look of Another Object

Copying the Look of Another Object

If your presentation contains an object that has the frame, fill, and shadow you want to use for another object, you can pick up those design elements and apply them to another object. To do this, perform the following steps:

  1. Click the object with the style you want to copy.

  2. Click the FormatPainter button on the Standard toolbar. PowerPoint copies the style.

  3. Click the object to which you want to apply the style. PowerPoint applies the copied style to the new object.
