Lesson 26. Creating Self-Running or Inte... > Creating a User-Interactive Show

Creating a User-Interactive Show

In a user-interactive show, you provide the audience some means of controlling the show. You can simply provide access to a keyboard or mouse, and let them control the show in the same way you learned in Lesson 25, or you can provide action buttons onscreen that make it easy for them to jump to specific slides.

Setting the Slide Show for Manual Advance

Earlier in this lesson, you saw how the Set Up Show dialog box enables you to choose between automatic and manual advance. For a user- interactive presentation, you will want to have the slides advance manually, since different people read at different speeds. Revisit this dialog box (Slide Show, Set Up Show) and make sure that Manually is chosen in the Advance Slides area.
