Lesson 12. Creating Columns and Lists > Working in Multiple Columns

Working in Multiple Columns

If you need multiple columns of text, you have several options:

  • You can use separate text boxes. The easiest way is to use the two-column AutoLayout, which includes two automatic text boxes, but you can also create text boxes manually. (AutoLayouts are described in Lesson 8, "Changing a Presentation's Look," and manual text boxes in Lesson 11, "Adding Text to a Slide.")

  • You can place tab stops in a single text box, and press Tab to create columns.

  • You can use a table to create a grid.
